To Mr. Yossef Almogui,

I greet and bless you,

The people of Kfar Chabad* who came here for Rosh Hashana*[1] conveyed your greetings and those of your family members. They also informed me of your personal interest in Kfar Chabad and the assistance you generously provide them. Without a doubt, you will not cease to bestow this goodness in the future and will even increase it greatly whenever possible. It is unnecessary to thank you profusely for all of this, for a good deed generates its own reward, and according to the words of our Sages, may their memory be a blessing, "the reward of a Mitzvah* is the Mitzvah itself"[2].

On the occasion of the new year that approaches, for us and for all of Israel, for the good and for blessing, I hereby extend to you and to all your household my wishes that you be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year. With my respect, my blessing, and in gratitude for your assistance to Kfar Chabad, both in the future and in the past,

אנשי ועד הכפר חב"ד שבאו לכאן לראש השנה מסרו לי פ"ש ממר ומבני ביתו שיחיו. וכן מסרו לי ג"כ ע"ד התענינותו האישית בעניני הכפר ועזרתו בסבר פנים יפות וכולי. ובודאי גם להבא לא ימנע הטוב ועוד יוסיף כהנה וכהנה בכל עת מצוא. ולמותר לומר תודה רבה על זה, כי הרי מעשה הטוב גמולו בצדו, ובלשון חכמינו זכרונם לברכה – שכר מצוה מצוה.

ולקראת השנה החדשה הבאה עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה ולברכה, הנני בזה להביע לו ולכל ב"ב שיחיו ברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה לשנה טובה ומתוקה.
