To the students of the yeshiva* coming from South America[1],

Greetings and blessings,

I learned, with much satisfaction, of your resolution and your decision to gather from time to time, in order to strengthen your bond regarding all that concerns Torah study and good conduct, to prepare yourselves for concrete actions to strengthen Yiddishkeit* in general and good chinuch* in particular[2] in your countries of origin. Indeed, you remain in permanent contact with your friends who are over there, and you show them the importance of strengthening Yiddishkeit*, of sending the greatest number of children to pursue their studies in yeshivos*.

It would be good if you involved in your work students from other yeshivos* who are also originally from South America.

You speak of questions and answers on Yiddishkeit*. It is not necessary that each of you prepare them every week. Only one or two of you will do so.

You will surely continue to write a report of all that you do, and I hope that you will announce to me positive accomplishments from time to time.

With my blessing that you study Torah with ardor and yiras Shamayim*, that you exert a positive influence on others, and that you do all this with success,
