שלא לשמוע מאחד מבעלי דינין ואין חברו עימו, שנאמר "לֹא תִשָּׂא שֵׁמַע שָׁוְא" (שמות כג, א).
Not to listen to one litigant in the absence of the other, as [Exodus 23:1] states: "Do not hear a false report."
