שלא להכשיל תם בדרך, שנאמר "וְלִפְנֵי עִוֵּר לֹא תִתֵּן מִכְשׁוֹל" (ויקרא יט, יד).
Not to mislead an unsuspecting person, as [Leviticus 19:14] states: "Do not place a stumbling block before the blind."
